From The Archives

This guy and his mate were hanging around the Badger Pass ski area of Yosemite during early Spring in 1994. They were hungry and at first approached us a little too aggressively, putting us back in our car just after I’d set up the camera and tripod. After awhile they lost interest, moved away and we watched and waited for a good shot. Finally the male obliged and trotted up on a knoll and posed. I think he decided that if he gave us what we wanted we’d go away. He was right and we did, with great appreciation!
